Community leaders (Lideres Comunitarios de Wilmington) have been listening closely to what the community needs when it comes to resources. In response, they’ve kicked off a project centered around asset mapping. After going through a extensive training on advocacy and systems change, the leaders realized how important it is to understand the resources and strengths within our community.
With this in mind, they decided to create a helpful resource guide for everyone. To ensure it’s inclusive for all, they put together a physical guide that they handed out to Best Start Wilmington members at the March partnership meeting. Plus, they also created a virtual resource guide using Google Maps, making it even easier for everyone to access the information they need!
