Our first Community Partnership Meeting of 2025 was focused on “The Joys of Parenting” as we got to hear from the parents in our leadership team Lideres Comunitarios de Wilmington (LCW) on how they have navigated some of the challenges of parenting celebrating some of the wonderful surprises of it too.

Participants learned about different ways they can intentionally use technology with their young ones and took some helpful lessons and tools home on the topic of child development. Participants received a custom jigsaw puzzle of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs to double as a family activity with young ones and a reminder of considering “the whole child”.
